I promise that all information provided will be kept strictly confidential. Touchwood Plants only keeps basic personal information (eg name, address, e-mail and telephone numbers (& other contact details)) of customers in order to contact people as necessary regarding the provision of information, products and services. All information is kept confidential and is not shared with marketing (etc) companies

I use your personal information to allow our contract, whether for goods (eg plant labels) or services (eg gardening, talks). I only ask for required information to allow our contract to be actioned. Your data will need to be kept in accordance with UK laws and regulations. It will be deleted when no longer needed, according to legal and regulatory constraints. In particular, tax purposes means a 6 year storage. Most data nowadays is stored electronically, plus some written information such as entries of names and contact details in my phone book; or in my dairy; letters from yourself about talks giving me details of our contract and how to find your meeting place.

I only share information that is needed by our contract itself (eg if Royal Mail needs your contact details), or other legal and regulatory requirements and purposes (notably tax).

Regarding access to your information and correction, you have the right to request a copy of the information that I hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to me as detailed on the Contact Me page. You may ask me to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

Special additional information concerning Aquilegia Downy Mildew (ADM) Information. Typically people are emailing me (usually with photos) when their aquilegias are dead, dying or ailing to ask if it is ADM. I give as correct and expansive replies as possible. I keep all such emails. Rarely, people phone instead or as well. With individual consent I will (time permitting) add details to the online ADM Directory webpage about where it has been found. I ask for your town/village & county, and request your consent to quote from your email/s and to use your photo. You may withdraw such consent at any time by emailing me. I will NOT put your name or anything on that page would identify you. If you do not wish me to use your quotes/pics, then I would just put an entry in the Directory giving town/village and county.
